Van Build 1.0

In May 2019, we bought a Mercedes Sprinter panel van. Over the next 6 months we converted her into our tiny home on wheels, complete with a full size bed, kitchen and seating area. We blogged and filmed our entire build series, both as a way to document our journey and to provide useful tips and inspiration for those looking to start their own van build. Van Build Series: Week 17 - Installing the Diesel Heater

With winter fast approaching, we realised we never made any plans for a fixed heater in the van. A bit of an oversight on our part, as we plan on living in the van full time. So this week we installed our 5kw diesel heater, with a little help from our friends. We also get our inverter up and running, giving us power to work on the road. Slowly but surely, we're getting there. We feel like we’ve been building the van for so long now. The end seems so close but so far still! It’s going to come together in the next couple of weeks, I can just feel it.
